Can my prospects see my internal comments?
No. Comments are internal-only. Prospects only see what’s on the share page or in the Buyer Space (the trailer + sections you’ve published).
Can I edit a trailer's narration text?
Not directly today. You can:
Rebuild with different clips (which regenerates the narration), OR
Build a custom trailer from scratch with a custom narration prompt.
Direct narration editing is on the roadmap.
What happens if a demo upload fails?
You’ll see an error panel with a Retry button. The most common cause is a corrupt MP4 file or an exceptionally long recording (>90 minutes). Try splitting or re-exporting.
Can I move a demo between users on my team?
Not directly today. You can re-share the link with anyone. Ownership transfer is on the roadmap.
What's the difference between a Buyer Space and just sharing a trailer link?
A trailer link is one video + a comment thread. A Buyer Space adds structured context (your understanding of the prospect’s pain, comparison tables, ROI, implementation plan).Use trailer links for top-of-funnel; use Buyer Spaces for active deals. See Buyer Spaces.
Can I download my data?
Yes, every demo’s transcript and AI outputs are exportable from the demo settings menu. Bulk export of all demos is available on request to support.
What if I want to use TrailerCast with a co-worker who isn't on my team yet?
Invite them via Settings → Security & Permissions. They’ll get an email with a one-click join link. Trial-period limits apply; tier limits apply post-trial.
Does TrailerCast work on mobile?
The app works on mobile browsers (review trailers, read summaries, post comments). Recording uploads from a phone work but are not the recommended workflow, use desktop.Prospects watching share pages on mobile is fully supported.
What languages does the transcription support?
English first-class. Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin all work in beta. AI summary quality is best in English.
How long is a recording stored?
Indefinitely while your account is active, unless you delete it manually. Deleted recordings are purged within 24 hours from Postgres and within R2’s retention window from blob storage.
Are you using my data to train your own proprietary AI?
No. TrailerCast doesn’t train any proprietary AI models. We use foundation models from Anthropic (Claude) for reasoning, Deepgram for transcription, and ElevenLabs for narration. Your data is input on a per-request basis under enterprise DPAs.
Can I integrate TrailerCast with my CRM?
Salesforce and HubSpot integrations are in preview today (read-mostly). Bidirectional sync is the next milestone. Outreach + Salesloft on the roadmap.
What if Anthropic changes its terms?
Our DPA with Anthropic is a binding contract that survives unilateral terms changes. If a future change ever permitted training on customer data, we’d notify you in advance and give you the option to pause AI features on your account before any change took effect.
How do I share a trailer with my whole sales team for them to see it as a coaching example?
Two options:
Share the public /share/<token> link in your Slack, they don’t need TrailerCast accounts to view
If they have TrailerCast accounts, every teammate with demos.view_team permission sees it in the Library
Can prospects forward the share link to their teammates?
Yes. The share link is anyone-with-link. They can forward it freely. The Engagement tab attributes views by the email each person enters, so multi-stakeholder forwarding is tracked.For more controlled multi-stakeholder access, use a Buyer Space, each stakeholder gets a unique signed link.
What happens during a network / R2 outage?
Uploads fail gracefully (you can retry once R2 is back). Existing trailers may stall during playback if R2 is degraded, refresh once status.trailercast.io shows green.
Do you have an API?
Limited Pro+ API in development (Q3 2026). Today the only programmatic surface is webhooks (Slack/Teams notifications).
How do I cancel?
Settings → Billing → Manage subscription → Cancel. Takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Account stays read-only for 30 days, then auto-deletes.
What if my demo has multiple speakers and I want only one's voice cloned?
Voice cloning uses a sample you upload directly, it doesn’t pull from demo recordings. Record the specific voice you want cloned and upload it via Settings → Voice.
