New
- QBR Briefs — auto-generated quarterly business review prep, per rep. New QBR Briefs tab in the left sidebar. Sellers pick a date range (last 30/60/90 days or 6 months — or custom), click Generate, and get an eight-section AI-synthesized rollup of every closed-won, closed-lost, and in-pipeline deal in the window: quarter stats, wins with transferable lessons, losses with honest reasons, active pipeline by stage, at-risk deals with rescue plans, patterns across deals, conversational talking points, and the manager’s likely hard questions with preempts. Read it in the detail view, present from it during the meeting via the Presenter mode (full-screen click-through, arrow-key navigation), or export to PDF. Cached and re-generatable. Saves a typical seller 2-4 hours of QBR prep per quarter.
- Cross-rep access for admins. Managers / admins can read any teammate’s QBR brief in their company (audit-logged) without the rep having to email it. Useful for pre-meeting context or coaching prep.
- Per-section edits survive regeneration. Sellers can hand-edit any AI-generated section; edits live in a separate
overrides_jsonfield and are merged at read time. Re-running the brief after adding new deals doesn’t trash manual corrections.
Coming next
- Manager team rollup — same brief shape, but aggregating N reps into one team brief. Designed; building when first asked.
- Auto-generation on quarter-close — Q1/Q2/Q3/Q4 cron + email-the-rep notification.
- Slide export (PowerPoint / Google Slides). Hold for now — early testers say Presenter mode is more useful than slides.
New
- Sales Library — a new top-level Library phase in the left sidebar. Company-wide pool of reusable sales assets (decks, PDFs, case studies, pricing, security questionnaires, legal templates, battlecards, one-pagers). Admins upload + curate; every rep can browse and attach assets to any Decision Room with one click. Eight asset types, free-form tags, full-text search. Distinct from the “Trailers” phase (which is the per-rep list of trailer videos).
- Versioning + always-latest by default. When marketing uploads a new version of the pricing deck, every Decision Room using it sees the new version on next download — no re-attach needed. Reps who want a specific version sticky can pin when attaching; the Documents tab shows a “Library · v2” badge on pinned rows vs “From Library” on always-latest rows.
- Suggested for this Space. When a rep clicks “Browse Library” inside a Decision Room, the modal pins the top 3-5 most relevant assets at the top, ranked by Postgres full-text search against the Space’s discovery + prospect industry. No AI call, no cost, deterministic.
- Visibility gating. Admins can mark an asset “Admins only” at upload — hidden from members in browse + the Browse modal.
- Version history on every asset. Detail panel shows every uploaded version with change notes + uploader; admins can download any historical version.
Coming next (still on the radar)
- AI-ranked suggestions — shipped same day, see the entry above.
- Per-asset comments / approvals — internal team threading on the asset itself (“Marketing, can you update slide 12?”). V3.
- Engagement aggregation across Spaces — “this deck has been viewed 47 times in 12 Spaces, here’s the avg time-on-page”. V3.
New
- Record a trailer directly in TrailerCast. No more Zoom-and-export, no more Loom. From the Trailers page → + New trailer ▾ → Record new trailer. Three layouts: screen + camera (picture-in-picture), screen only, or camera only. Up to 15 minutes per recording (soft warning at 10 minutes, auto-stop at 15). Lands as a normal trailer in your library, ready to attach to Decision Rooms, share via per-recipient links, and track engagement on. Skips the AI pipeline so it’s instantly available — recording IS the final trailer. Desktop browsers only (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari); iOS doesn’t support browser screen capture.
Coming next (designed, building incrementally)
- Per-prospect personalization layer. Record a short webcam intro and stick it on top of an existing trailer for one specific stakeholder. Different intro for the IT lead, the CFO, the CISO. Tracked per-recipient, your consensus play.
- Branded intro/outro auto-composition for recorded clips. Reuses TrailerCast’s existing slide pipeline + voice cloning narration to wrap your recordings with your brand without you doing anything.
- Playlist composition. Drag-drop multiple clips into a single branded, narrated sequence.
New
- AI picks for this deal (opt-in). When a rep clicks “Browse Library” inside a Decision Room, the modal includes an “Ask AI to rank” button. Click it once and the AI reads the Space’s full context (prospect industry, discovery summary, welcome message, stakeholders, most recent linked demo’s call summary) and ranks the library against THIS specific deal — each pick with a one-sentence reasoning (“Recommended because Acme is in healthcare and asked for HIPAA evidence — this is the ProHealth case study”). Result is cached per Space, so repeat opens of the same Space’s modal render the ranking instantly without re-running the model. A “Refresh” button lets the rep re-run after adding discovery context. Postgres full-text search still runs in the “Other matches” section.
- TrailerCast logo on docs.trailercast.io. Replaces the Mintlify default with our purple-target mark + wordmark in the top-left. Light + dark variants. Favicon also branded.
New
- eSignature tracking — DocuSign V1. TrailerCast now watches contracts signed externally via DocuSign Connect. Paste an envelope ID into the Buyer Space Documents tab and you’ll see real-time engagement: who viewed when, “X hours since first view, not yet signed”, per-recipient signature status, and a full event audit log. When the envelope completes, the Space auto-flips to Won and the Sales Handoff Brief auto-fires for the implementation team. Setup is one-time (admin-only): Settings → Integrations → eSignature tracking → paste the HMAC secret from DocuSign Admin → Connect.
- Per-vendor adapter pattern. Backend is structured so PandaDoc / HelloSign / Adobe Sign drop in against the same schema. DocuSign first because it’s ~70% of B2B eSign volume + has the most mature webhook system.
Coming next
- PandaDoc / HelloSign / Adobe Sign adapters — same engagement UI, different vendor wiring. ~2-3 days each once we have a customer asking.
- OAuth-connected DocuSign — auto-discover envelopes instead of pasting envelope IDs. V2.
New
- Sales Handoff Brief — a new internal-only tab inside every Buyer Space. One click compresses every linked recording, the People ledger, MAP commitments, and ROI inputs into a structured one-page brief the implementation team can read in 90 seconds. Built specifically for the moment a deal closes and you’re handing the customer to onboarding or CS. Generate from Buyer Space → Handoff Brief → Generate brief. Regenerate any time. The brief is stored, so re-opening the tab is instant. Download PDF button exports the brief as a Letter-format printable for emailing the implementation team or attaching to a CRM record. See Buyer Spaces → Sales Handoff Brief for the full field list.
Coming next
- eSignature tracking (DocuSign first) — webhook-based engagement tracking for contracts signed externally. When an envelope completes, the Buyer Space auto-flips to “Won” and the Handoff Brief auto-fires. Designed and spec’d; build starts now.
New
- Color-coded chapter strip on every video. Hover to see what’s in each segment, click to jump there. Works on call detail, demo trailer review, and the prospect-facing share page.
- Active-segment highlighting — as the video plays, the current chapter lights up so you always know where you are.
- Keyboard shortcuts
[and]to jump between chapters without touching the mouse. - Comments tab on every demo and call detail page. Internal-only team discussion with
@mentionautocomplete. Mentioned teammates get a notification. - Comments count badge on the tab so you can see at a glance whether teammates have weighed in.
- Ask Winter on every recording. A dedicated tab in the right rail of every call and demo page — Winter’s grounded specifically on that recording’s transcript and AI summary, so you can ask “what were the main objections?” without spelling out which call.
- Conversations persist in the per-recording Ask Winter tab — switch tabs, refresh the page, your Q&A history stays.
- Help menu in the top bar (the ? icon next to your profile). Deep-links to the docs page about whichever screen you’re on.
Improved
- AI Personalization now powers every output. When you fill out the form in Settings → AI Personalization, every AI feature (moment selection, summaries, deal briefs, follow-up drafts, Ask Winter) grounds its output in your industry, ICP, value props, and pain points. Previously only moment selection used this context.
- Trailer review surface widened. More room for the video, cleaner layout edge-to-edge.
- Demo trailer right rail rebuilt with four tabs (Engagement, Highlights, Comments, Ask Winter) so prospect threads, AI summaries, internal team chat, and AI Q&A all live in one panel.
Fixed
- “Watch full segment” pill now jumps to the START of the highlighted clip in the source recording (was incorrectly jumping to the end). You actually see the segment now, not what came after.
- Meeting summaries are generating again — there was a quiet failure where some meeting recordings ended up with no AI summary attached. All new meeting recordings get summaries; existing ones can be regenerated by reclassifying them.
